Where is the Tournament?

The tournament will be held at the William H.G. FitzGerald Tennis Center in Rock Creek Park at 16th & Kennedy Streets, NW, in Washington, DC, a permanent stadium (capacity: 7,500) that is also the year-round home of the Washington Tennis & Education Foundation.

Do my tickets grant me access to all matches outside of the Stadium?

Yes. Your tickets guarantee you a reserved seat in the stadium as well as access to all outer courts. Outer court seating is on a first come, first served basis. Your ticket includes all ATP and WTA matches.

What is the format of the Tournament?

Session 1 (Saturday, July 27) – ATP & WTA Qualifying
Session 2 (Sunday, July 28) ATP & WTA Qualifying
Sessions 3-5 (Monday July 29- Wednesday July, 31) – ATP & WTA Main Draw (sessions start at 2pm.)
Session 6 (Thursday Aug. 1) – ATP & WTA Main Draw (Session starts at 4pm)
Session 7 (Friday Aug. 2) – ATP & WTA Quarterfinals
Session 8 (Friday Aug. 2) – ATP & WTA Quarterfinals (Afternoon session start at 1pm.  Evening session will start at 7pm.)
Session 9 (Saturday Aug. 3) – ATP Semifinals & WTA Doubles Finals
Session 10 (Saturday Aug. 3) – ATP & WTA Semifinals
Session 11 (Sunday Aug. 4) – ATP & WTA Finals

Do you know who is playing and when?

You may view our player field at www.citiopentennis.com/players/2013_players/. We cannot predict who will be playing each day during the week. However, the tournament's singles draw will be created and published on our website on Friday, July 26, 2013

Where is the box office located?

The box office is located at the Main entrance on the North end of the site, closest to grass lot.

Can I buy Box Seats for just one session?

If there are Courtside Box Seats still available that have not been sold as a package for the entire week, they will be available for purchase on a single-session basis starting July 27.  Like single-session reserved tickets, single-session Box Seat tickets will be sold through Ticketmasterand at the on-site box office.

Can you give me driving directions to the stadium?

From downtown DC: Take 16th Street, NW north for 4 miles. Tennis
Center will be on your left.
From the Beltway: Take I-495 Exit 31/Georgia Avenue south toward Silver Spring. Stay in the right lane for approximately 1/4 mile; bear right onto 16th Street (Rt. 390). After 3 miles, Tennis Center will be on your right.

What is considered the "shady" side of the stadium and are there any covered seats available?

During the afternoons and evenings, the West side is ‘considered’ the more shady side of the stadium, as those sitting on the West side will have the setting sun at their backs.
 
There are Box Seats located under an awning on the North side of the Stadium. Fans interested in weeklong "North Covered Box Seats" should call the Tournament Hotline at (202) 721-9500.

Is the stadium handicap accessible?

Yes. There are four (4) handicap-seating areas located in the lower level of the stadium. There is also handicap parking available on-site with state- issued plates or permits, as well as wheelchair ramps and wheelchair- accessible restrooms located around the stadium.

Can I bring a cooler into the stadium?

Coolers, picnic baskets, water jugs, cans or glass bottles are not allowed in the stadium.

Do children need tickets?

Children 2 and under do not need a ticket, if they do not occupy a seat (ie they must sit on your lap).

What happens if it rains?

Rain Policy: No refunds, exchanges, or rain checks. All sales are final. When you purchase ticket, you assume the risk of weather-related cancellation or postponement. One completed match on Stadium Court will constitute a complete session.
