The submission deadline is 5:00 p.m. EST, Monday, July 15.

We will only accept ONE application per news agency, so please coordinate your planned coverage of the tournament, and include all requests for credentials for your agency on one application.

Please note that all media credentials must include a photograph. Journalists may submit a passport photo (JPEG format, no larger than 300k) in advance via email or have one taken on site. Please allow ample time for the onsite credentialing process to be completed.

Media Guidelines

  • Media must be credentialed to gain access to the Citi Open. Proof of identity must be presented prior to receiving credential.
  • Credentials are limited to members of the working press only. All credentialed media must sign the photography agreement attached to the credential application.
  • The Media Center, located on the east side of the site, will be operational beginning Saturday, July 27, at 8:00 a.m.
  • Credentials can be picked up at the credential office located on the clay courts.
  • All credentials are nontransferable.
  • Workspace is available upon request at the Media Center. Space is limited.
  • Any media member who asks a player for an autograph or asks to have his/her photo taken with a player will immediately lose his/her credential and asked to leave the tournament site. Media members who indirectly ask for autographs or photos with players may lose his/her credential and asked to leave the tournament site.
  • Media should ask for a ticket for a seat in Stadium Court for each day of coverage. Tickets will be handed out solely at the discretion of the Media Director and other Media Room staff, and are not necessarily available on a first-come, first-served basis.
  • Only media with tournament media accreditations will have access to the Media Room and any services, food or amenities offered.
  • Media not following these guidelines or not following the directives of the Media Director or other Media Center staff, tournament staff, on-court officials, ushers and other tournament personnel may have their credentials revoked and immediately asked to leave the tournament site.
  • The media agrees that he/she will not disseminate, transmit, publish or release from the grounds of the Tournament any live match score or related live statistical data until 30 seconds after the actual occurrence of the incident of match play or action that leads to such live score update (e.g. a point being scored), and that such use shall be solely for news reporting and editorial use.
