Introducing Grandstand Court Covered Baseline Seating for Tournament Ticketholders!

Another Valuable Reason to Purchase a 2021 Citi Open Premium Full-Tournament Package

Tournament officials are thrilled to announce an upgrade and expansion of John Harris Grandstand Court, to debut at the 2021 Citi Open, with a new covered seating pavilion right on the baseline, further elevating the fan experience and providing another valuable reason to become a full-tournament ticketholder.

The new section will add nearly 500 seats to the popular John Harris Court and for the first time feature both shaded seating and baseline seating on this famous court.   Due to the limited capacity, the section in 2021 will only be available to all Citi Open suiteholders, platinum & premium boxholders, as well as Dream Seat & Stadium Club ticketholders.

Named after tournament co-founder John A. Harris, the legendary court has featured many of the top stars in the game, and some of the most memorable matches of the tournament, including men’s singles champion Nick Kyrgios, who defeated French former world No. 6, Gilles Simon, in a magnetic performance that drew a standing-room-only crowd.

Fans in Harris Grandstand also saw Russian world No. 5 and 2019 Citi Open finalist Daniil Medvedev beat hometown favorite Frances Tiafoe on his way to compiling one of the most impressive hard court season records in recent memory, culminating with an inspired run to the US Open final.

The court has also become a showcase for emerging stars, like American teen sensation Coco Gauff, who played her first main round match in DC and won her maiden WTA doubles title with fellow teen star Caty McNally on Harris, as well as legends, like former US Open champ Marin Cilic and former Citi Open champion Milos Raonic.
