Top Americans Opelka, Isner, Fritz & Korda Join 2021 Citi Open Player Field

If you follow Citi Open on social media, you may have seen the series of posts on Facebook, Twitter & Instagram yesterday announcing the latest players to join the 2021 Citi Open player field.
Yesterday, tournament officials announced the addition of Canadian world No. 12 Denis Shapovalov, Russian world No. 29 Karen Khachanov, Polish world No. 18 Hubert Hurkacz, who will join previously-announced Felix Auger-Aliassime in the 2021 player field. Together, they comprise 4 of 8 quarterfinalists currently alive in the 2021 Wimbledon Championships.
Michigan giant and current US No. 1 Reilly Opelka, three-time Citi Open finalist and former US No. 1 John Isner, and recent US No. 1 Taylor Fritz were also announced as a trio in a tight contest for the top American ranking.
American Next-Gen ATP contender Sebastian Korda and British No.2 Cam Norrie were also confirmed.
