Washington, DC, June 21, 2021: The Washington Tennis & Education Foundation (WTEF) is thrilled to announce that on June 1, 2021, the Champions Campaign, a fundraiser celebrating champions to support its mission, is well underway.
The campaign focuses on one central question: who champions you? This question inspires students, mentors, professionals, and anyone alike to think about who inspires them to be the person they are today. This fundraiser aims to foster generosity to compel its donors to support WTEF’s mission by sharing champion stories and fun throwbacks. So far, WTEF has received tremendous support from its donors and has raised more than $160,000.
A vital component of the fundraiser is the CitiOpen. In partnership with the CitiOpen tournament this summer, WTEF offers tournament tickets and box suites to encourage sponsorship level support. Its sponsorship tiers range from platinum, gold, silver, and bronze. In addition, WTEF is a direct beneficiary of the CitiOpen.
John Borden, President and CEO says, "Our connection to the tournament is one of the oldest and most important relationships WTEF has. As in years past, the tournament helps us fund our mission to build life champions. As we wind down our annual fundraiser, the "Champions Campaign," we are so happy that tennis is back in D.C. and that we have the means to continuing living our mission."
The goal is to raise $330,000 by the end of June. You can support the campaign by visiting its Champions Campaign landing page and make a donation today.
